Installation

Requirements

• GTA V on PC.
• Script Hook V, latest build.
• Script Hook V .NET Enhanced, installed in the GTA V root folder.
• .NET Framework 4.8 Runtime.
• Microsoft Visual C++ Redistributable x64.

Getting the archive

Every edition is on the download page. Basic is free and needs no account; Gamer and Partner unlock when you connect with Patreon at the matching tier. See Editions for what each one contains.

The DLLs next to InteractV.dll are part of the mod: keep them all.

The config/ folder holds the files you edit by hand. Gamer and Partner add a territory settings file there and ship every gameplay file (scenes, interactions, events, behaviors, voice lines) as editable data. Basic provides the faction profiles in groups/ as editable files.

Once you play, the mod creates a data/ folder next to config/ to remember its own state. Leave it alone: deleting it resets what the mod remembers about your game.

Steps

1. Install Script Hook V and Script Hook V .NET Enhanced in the GTA V root folder.
2. Extract the archive's contents into the GTA V root folder and let Windows merge scripts/ with your existing one. Extract the contents: do not drop the ZIP itself into the game folder.
3. Launch the game.

On load, InteractV posts a short notification naming the edition you installed. NPC interactions start on their own: there is nothing to activate.

Updating

Extract the new archive over the old one and accept the replacements. Your config/ files are replaced too: if you changed settings, note them before updating and set them again. The data/ folder is not in the archive, so what the mod remembers is kept.

Controls

While the wheel is open, point with the mouse or right stick, change a variant with the scroll wheel or left/right, select with Enter / A, and go back with Esc / B. Your crew's orders live in the wheel. The keys follow GTA's default keyboard and controller layout and can be changed in the settings file (see Configuration).
