Configuration
Street Riders 2.0.0 uses five files in Grand Theft Auto V/scripts/StreetRiders/. Keep the folder beside scripts/StreetRiders.dll; the old root-level StreetRiders.ini and StreetRiders_Advanced.ini are no longer read. Press F10 in-game to reload changes.
| File | What to change |
|---|---|
config.ini | Enable the mod, show blips, set rider counts and hotkeys. |
groups.ini | Choose active groups, bike models, GTA V zones, spawn hours and per-group behavior. |
vehicles.ini | Set default wheelie physics and per-bike profiles. |
behavior.ini | Tune driving, fall prevention, stunts, police and Follow Player. |
advanced.ini | Tune spawn distances, formation, obstacle checks and remount behavior. |
config.ini
In [General], Enabled = true enables the mod. ShowBlips = true shows rider blips by default; ShowOverhead = false hides the debug labels. MaxActiveGroups = 1 limits simultaneous groups, and RidersPerGroupMin = 2 / RidersPerGroupMax = 4 set their size. ReloadKey = F10 and DebugKey = Insert can be reassigned. The [TestMode] section is off by default; enable it to use NumPad1 for a forced spawn and NumPad0 to remove active riders.
groups.ini
The [General] section lists active names in Groups. Each name needs a matching [Group_NAME] section. For example, Groups = Families, Ballas uses [Group_Families] and [Group_Ballas]. A group can set PedModels, BikeModels, Zones, ActiveHourStart / ActiveHourEnd, Chance, DoWheelie, DoWheelieStunts, CanFollowPlayer, weapons and blip appearance. Leave Zones empty to allow spawns everywhere. See Groups and Zones.
vehicles.ini
The [General] section contains WheelieExcludedModels and BikeOverrides. [DefaultWheelie] sets baseline physics, including LiftForce, TorqueOffset, MinSpeed, TargetPitch and MaxPitch. Listed bikes can override these in [Bike_MODEL]. The optional [DefaultWheelie_NoFall] and [Bike_MODEL_NoFall] profiles tune physics while fall prevention is active; if absent, the base profile is used. See Wheelie Physics.
behavior.ini
The [Behavior] section includes PreventFall = WheelieOnly in the published archive. The options are Always, WheelieOnly and Disabled; PreventFallChance = 50 applies only to WheelieOnly and is the per-wheelie chance of protection. StuntCooldown = 8000 and StuntAnimations control showoff animations during sustained wheelies. DrivingFlags = 868413 includes overtaking. Police pursuit is enabled with AllowPoliceArrest = true and only targets sustained wheelies. The [FollowPlayer] section controls its trigger, F7 toggle and dismount behavior. See Follow Player.
The distributed behavior.ini sets BodyguardEnabled = true, but its own comment still labels the feature work in progress and warns of unintended attacks. Set it to false if you do not want to test that behavior.
advanced.ini
The [Advanced] section contains FormationDistance = 20 for follower spacing and LeaderGracePeriodMs = 4000 before choosing a replacement leader. It also contains SpawnDistanceMin / SpawnDistanceMax, CleanupDistance, SpawnIntervalMs, WheelieActiveDistance, RaycastDistance and remount settings. Most players can keep these defaults.
Migrating from 1.x
Start with the five files shipped in 2.0.0. Copy your old [Group_NAME] sections into groups.ini and wheelie profiles into vehicles.ini; move other custom values into the corresponding new files. Do not copy the old INI into scripts/ and expect it to load.
